What is a Petit Four anyway? Well, it’s a little delicacy that has an unknown origin and it tastes better than gourmet store-bought items.

I wonder if this system here would do the job: RSVP System.  It appears that this site was used for a large number of movie screenings for The Chronicles of Narnia.  Maybe we should contact them for our event.

Britney Spears is reportedly considering making her mum, Lynne, the legal custodian of her two sons to prevent their father Kevin Federline getting custody of the boys.

Kevin pledged to fight for custody of 17 months old Sean and 5 month old Jayden when Britney specified she wanted full legal and physical custody when she filed for divorce last November. According to the Sun, his legal team have been closely watching Britney’s constant partying since then in order to portray her as a bad mother when the case comes to court.

Lynne Spears arrived in Los Angeles last week to supplement the care given to the boys by nannies. A source told the newspaper: “Britney has called in her mum to make sure nobody can accuse her of neglecting her children. She is terrified that Kevin will take them.”

In related news, an onlooker has revealed that Britney nearly broken down in tears on Friday when she thought she’d missed her flight to Los Angeles.

After leaving rehab, Britney was spotted running through Miami International Airport to catch a flight to Los Angeles but when she arrived at the gate, she found that the flight was closed and the walkway had already been retracted from the plane.

A passenger at the adjoining gate told People magazine: “She was really upset. She [said] to the ticket agent, ‘I’ve got to get on this plane to get home to my kids.’ She looked like she was about to cry.”

The agent then called through to the pilot, who let Britney board the American Airlines flight. Britney gave the ticket agent an autograph then smiled and waved at the onlookers, saying “God bless.”

An American Airlines spokesperson told the magazine that allowing late arrivals on board is not unusual as long as the flight isn’t delayed.

UPDATE: A spokesperson for Britney has told People magazine: “Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”

TMZ is reporting she’s admitted herself into an in-patient rehab facility in the Los Angeles area at the urging of her friends and family.

Britney Spears entered rehab Tuesday after a bizarre weekend that included shaving her head and getting a new tattoo.

Spears, 25, voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility, CNN has confirmed.

“We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time,” Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, said in a statement.

Since she announced her separation from Kevin Federline in November, Spears, the mother of two young sons, has been seen partying with Paris Hilton, and her appearance has been increasingly sloppy.

On Friday night, Spears grabbed an electrical shaver at a San Fernando Valley salon and shaved her head completely bald.

Hopefully things work out better for her this time around.
And hopefully no paparazzi compound the problem.

In an effort to provide tranquility for troubled pop star Britney Spears’ turbulent lifestyle the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League have invited the newly separated icon to spend an all expense paid trip in snow-buried Syracuse, NY.

In recent weeks Spears has been the subject of negative publicity surrounding late-night partying, a very short stint in rehab and being photographed without wearing any underwear and a new shaved look.

In a show of support the Crunch is offering any woman that comes to the War Memorial Box Office with a shaved head a free ticket to the club’s February 24 game against the Manitoba Moose.

“The team and community want to provide Britney Spears with a stress free environment and the chance to experience a high level of hockey,” said Crunch President and CEO Howard Dolgon. “In addition to being 3,000 miles away from Hollywood, Syracuse is light years away from that pretentious environment. There won’t be paparazzi within a 100 miles.”

The Crunch’s offer of an all expense paid trip will begin with their game on the 24th. Also if Spears accepts the Crunch’s invitation each member of the club’s front office staff will shave their heads.

Pop singer Britney Spears may be regretting a decision to shave her head over the weekend, but the owners of the California salon where she did the deed are laughing.

Esther Tognozzi, who owns Esther’s Hair Studio, is hoping to auction off the singer’s hair for more than US$1 million. She set up a website, www.buybritneyshair.com, and is hoping to start a bidding frenzy for the golden locks.

Spears, who has recently been spotted wearing a blond wig, made the apparently rash decision to shave off her hair on Friday. According to reports she went into the salon and asked a stylist to cut off all her hair. When the stylist refused, she picked up some hair clippers and did the job herself.

The winning bidder for Britney’s hair will also receive those clippers, a cigarette lighter Spears left at the salon, and a can of Red Bull she’d been drinking.

One catch is that the buyer will have to pick up the hair from the studio, located in Tarzana, Calif. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity, the owners insist, but specific charities weren’t named.

Co-owner J.T. Tognozzi said they put the hair up for sale on eBay but the listing was cancelled for some reason.

The reason could relate to the scads of fake listings for Britney’s hair, some as far away as the UK and Germany.

A spokesperson for eBay warned potential buyers to carefully consider what they’re thinking about purchasing and only go ahead if they’re certain of its authenticity.

Spears, who also sported a new tattoo Friday, has made headlines across North America since she split from husband Kevin Federline for her wild lifestyle.

Craig Ferguson decided not to poke fun at Britney Spears for at least one night.

The host of CBS television’s “The Late Late Show” told viewers Monday that after seeing photos of the 25-year-old pop star’s shaved head, he reconsidered making jokes at the expense of the “vulnerable.”

Spears made headlines over the weekend when she shaved her head at a Los Angeles hair salon and then went to a tattoo parlor where she had a pair of lips put on her wrist. Spears shaved her head Friday, the same day as reports on TV and Web sites that she had briefly checked into a rehabilitation center.

“For me, comedy should have a certain amount of joy in it,” Ferguson said. “It should be about attacking the powerful — the politicians, the Trumps, the blowhards — going after them. We shouldn’t be attacking the vulnerable.”

Ferguson recalled his battle with alcoholism and said he worries Spears may be having troubles of her own.

“Now I’m not saying Britney is alcoholic, I don’t know what she is — alcoholic or not — but she clearly needs help,” he said.

Yes, she does need help. She needs many prayers for one thing.

An out-of-breath and disheveled Britney Spears almost lost it when she learned she might miss her flight to Los Angeles on Friday, an eyewitness tells PEOPLE.

Carrying two small bags, Spears, 25, ran through Miami International Airport to catch her American Airlines flight. But when she arrived at the gate and handed her boarding pass to the ticket agent, she was informed that the walkway had been retracted from the plane and the flight was closed.

“She was really upset,” says David Paulsen, a passenger at an adjoining gate. “She (said) to the agent, ‘I’ve got to get on this plane to get home to my kids.’ She looked like she was about to cry.”

Paulson says the ticket agent called the pilot and requested that Spears be allowed on the flight: “‘I’ve got Britney Spears here and she wants to get on the plane.’” After a pause, the agent said, “‘No, I’m serious. Can we get her on the plane?’” A few seconds later, the agent smiled and nodded to Spears, and the walkway was extended again.

When Paulson later approached the ticket agent about Spears, he was told that it was, indeed, the pop star and she had gotten one of the very last seats on a full plane, with first class entirely booked.

An American Airlines spokesperson tells PEOPLE that it’s not unusual for the airline to allow late arrivals on the plane as long as it doesn’t delay the flight. The final decision is left up to the cockpit crew and gate agents.

As a visibly relieved Spears was about to board the plane, Paulson says, she stopped to give an autograph to the agent, and then turned to the crowd of onlookers and waved. “‘God bless!’” she said, as she got on the plane.

At least she is keeping God in mind sometimes. Hopefully she asks for His help in her own life.

If Britney Spears wanted to distract the paparazzi from that fresh tattoo on her wrist, she sure picked a heck of a way to go about it, quotes the E! Online magazine.

A newly bald Britney was spotted entering a Sherman Oaks, California, tattoo parlor Friday night. She emerged a little bit later sporting a… Wait a minute! Bald?!

A bystander interviewed by L.A.’s KABC-TV, which filmed Britney Spears heading into Body & Soul Tattoo on Ventura Boulevard, said that the pop star had shaved her head because “she didn’t want people touching her anymore.”

In fact, Spears didn’t even want anybody to cut her hair for her. Celebrity photo agency X17 (X17online.com) captured before and after pics of Shears, er, Spears doing the job herself.

A source told E! Online’s Marc Malkin that Britney Spears’ mother is tearfully distraught over her daughter’s latest move, telling him that the family is “in major intervention mode.”

According to Extra, which first advanced the rehab story, Spears checked into an unidentified treatment facility about two days ago.

Last weekend, while former boyfriend Justin Timberlake and former MMC colleague Christina Aguilera were starring at the Grammys, Spears was in New York City, spied stepping out of a vomit puddle located in the backseat of her limousine.

How could it be a rehab result when she was only there for less than 24 hours? Poor girl.

As many ask the question if Britney Spears public display was a cry for help, Britney is still out hitting the party circuit. Even though her mom Lynne is reportedly in town the one-time pop princess has not slowed down her hard charging lifestyle. She must not have been too impressed with her new chrome dome look as she has now slapped on a platinum blonde wig to cover up her bald head.

TMZ.Com is reporting that the latest episode of what they are calling ‘Shears-gate,’ has cameras that caught the pop-tart sporting a platinum blonde wig at The Roxy in West Hollywood last night. When one curious photog asked about Brit’s old promise to “keep her brown hair,” Spears shot back, “I lied.”

This is London is reporting that her increasingly erratic behavior continued and Britney stormed out of The Roxy after 45 minutes and headed for the Polo Lounge. She had taken offence when the DJ played her debut hit ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ in her honor. One clubber said: “It was a shock to see her in a wig after what she had done to herself.

“While she was in the club she kept going to bathroom all the time, which was weird.” Certainly that type of reports from the scene will ramp up speculation.

So what is this all about? Her aunt Wanda tells the New York Daily News that Britney’s recent off-the-rails behavior might have something to do with the death of her aunt Sandra Bridges Covington, who died of cancer in late January.

And the New York Post, citing an unnamed Las Vegas gossip site, says that on a recent trip to Vegas, Britney found that her hair was so badly damaged from harsh treatments that she was beginning to find bald spots. So Brit just finished the job herself.

Harsh treatments? Bald spots?

Yet another reason to stay the natural route and not use chemicals in the hair.
